General Terms & Conditions

1. {{{ORG_NAME}}} Obligations

{{{ORG_NAME}}} will provide the Partner with the benefits associated with the selected sponsor package and any selected add-ons. Benefits are delivered as described on the official conference website for {{{CONFERENCE_YEAR}}}.

2. Partner Obligations

The Partner agrees to pay the agreed upon amount due 30 days after signing this Agreement.

3. Partner Trademarks and Materials

The Partner grants {{{ORG_NAME}}} a non-exclusive right to use the Partner's trade names, logo, and trademarks solely in connection with the marketing and execution of {{{CONFERENCE_TITLE}}}. The Partner shall provide their logo in SVG format.

4. Indemnity

4.1 The Partner will indemnify and hold {{{ORG_NAME}}} harmless against any claims arising out of content provided by the Partner or the unauthorized use of Partner trademarks.

4.2 {{{ORG_NAME}}} is not responsible for damage to or loss of property belonging to the Partner, except in cases of proven willful misconduct or gross negligence by {{{ORG_NAME}}} staff.

5. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall either party be liable for any consequential, incidental, or indirect damages resulting from a breach of this contract.

6. Term and Termination

6.1 This Agreement is valid from the date of signature ({{{TODAY_DATE}}}) until the conclusion of the event.

6.2 {{{ORG_NAME}}} may terminate this Agreement at any time. If terminated for reasons other than a breach by the Partner, all fees received will be refunded in full.

6.3 The Partner may terminate for a significant breach by {{{ORG_NAME}}}, provided 10 days' notice is given to remedy the breach.

7. Disagreement

Any disputes that cannot be settled through mutual mediation shall be referred to an independent arbitrator or settled in accordance with the laws of Norway, with the Bergen District Court (Bergen tingrett) as the legal venue.

8. Miscellaneous

This Agreement shall not be divulged to any third party without prior written approval from both Parties.
